TWIN VALLEYS SCHOOL

The 2nd Twin Valleys School, 1910

The first Twin Valleys School was built on the south side of the public road 1/2 mile southeast of Orin Crabtree's first cabin. About 1906 it was poorly attended and the building was beginning to show its age. A newer school was built about 1910 between the road and stream near the northwest corner of Wild Bill Valley.

The district was started in 1899, and the last class ended in 1917, with the school district lapsing in 1920.

At one time school was held for a half-term in Twin Valleys, the other half in Bartlett Springs.
